OK. so I'll check whether they apply to mapnik and move them accordingly
if appropriate. Thanks for the info.

BTW, if you send me patches that seem sensible and I can test, I will
submit them for you. Attaching them to the trac tickets would be ok, or
sending them to the mailing list would be too.
