[OSM-dev] Relation to group parts of a way

Hi,

I was under the impression that we already had a defined
relation that groups the parts of a way, that has been
split (e.g. a bridge in a road or the 2 oneway-lanes of
a motorway) into a single entity.
Yet I could not find such a relation in
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/Map_Features#Highway

Is there anything already in use that could be documented
or added as a proposed feature?
