Thanks Tom!  I probably deleted the node with Potlatch.  Potlach has a
bug(?) where it sometimes renders nodes that are part of a way in the
large round style normally reserved for standalone nodes.  I think it
did that to some of the nodes on the way I had drawn, and I got
confused and deleted them, thinking I had created duplicate nodes in
those locations.  Turns out they were the nodes from the way, and then
I was left with this broken situation.
