Hello, Huston! :)
http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=46.04702&lon=14.52213&zoom=15&layers=0B0FTF
shows a large watery triangle and same can be seen in JOSM (nad navit,
where i originally came across this new lake :).
When i asked the local user mihau, who did the last change he pointed me
to Potlatch where the riverbank looks perfect.
There is something fishy with the way 25397686 as returned by API:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.5/way/25397686/history (latest
version has many node here)
http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.5/way/25397686 (only 7 nodes!)
One of the missing nodes seems to be (unintentionally) deleted:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.5/node/175826598/history
but potlatch seems to show them, since they are included in the way.
Yep, deleted nodes are included in the visible way. History api call
shows all the nodes in a way, but regular api call includes just visible
nodes (forming a triangle). Potlatch seems to show also deleted nodes.
Potlatch deleted some nodes which it shouldn't and is showing them as
not deleted.
>From my local planet extracts i found the riverbank which existed before
potlatch decided to create a new one:
http://www.openstreetmap.org/api/0.5/way/16956741/history
User mihau was doing just minor adjustments to the riverbank (certainly
not deleting it or its nodes) when all this happened.
Any ideas what's going on?
Stefan
