[OSM-dev] Started coding (Altitude profile)

Hi everyone,

Now that the coding season has officially begun, I will update you
once a week. I will try to time this with interesting milestones in my
project, to keep it interesting.

Todays post describes the things I have been reading about last week
and what I have been able to code today:
