nvm, it works. I was hit by the persistant network stuff and didn't
realise it would come up as eth1.

Anyway:
add a bridge
create a tap1
add tap1 as interface name

make your normal interface 0.0.0.0
add your normal network interface to the bridge
add your tap1 to the bridge
assign a normale ip address to the bridge

make your vms host interface tap1
start up

add an IP to the ethX of interface inside the VM
working.



So I have now a VM with an API server :) Bit big... needs to shrink
before distribution.
