If you are thinking maybe 'out of the box' and [insert your favorite
editor here] would indicate the error margin of your track it could be a
very good reference if there are multiple traces of that road.

It seems you don't care about error margin at all, or you assume that the
GPS is 'perfect' under all circumstances.
