Hello,
i'm new here on the list and i have some questions related to the
rails_port.
I've setup it till rendering the tiles with mapnik (since two days on
its way).
The goal for my own Rails_port-Website is to get larger PNG-Maps than
2000x2000 pixel via the r_p-Export-Tab and get osm-data with more than
50000 nodes. Here my questions:
1. Tileserver: Need the embedded lighthttpd customizing to deploy the
tiles or need i set up an separate Webserver (e.g. apache) with
documentroot on the tile-dir and other enhancements?
2. my r_p-website uses for Displaying the map and exporting osm-data the
official osm-servers (x.tile.openstreetmap.org and api.openstreetmap.org).
Which customizing is necessary that the local data is used. Maybe i have
to generate new OpenLayers? But where?
I will be very grateful for some hints.
Thanks for your effort
Oliver
