[OSM-dev] Question on minute-replicate after planet import.

Hi all,

after the loading of planet in the postgis database, I'd like to start
the minute-replicate diff mechanism to keep it up to date.

I'd like to have some suggestion about the time to start the diff
applying at.

For example, the planet I'm loading shows on head:

<osm version="0.6" generator="OpenStreetMap planet.c"
timestamp="2010-01-13T01:11:02Z">

If I get it correctly, the reference time should the one read there.

Reading mails on this list it seems that as a precaution I should start
applying diff from some hours before that timestamp, say from
2010-01-12T21:00:00Z.

Can older diff overlap more recent planet data without any trouble?

TIA
