[OSM-dev] osmosis too slow to write a changes file to a postgis DB?

By the way, this is how I am calling osmosis:

cat ./newData.xml | pv -B 100m | ../../osmosis-0.38/bin/osmosis --rxc "-"
--write-pgsql-change database=osmOsmosis
