yes, aligning completely different logos in a pleasant way is usually
a difficult task. Same width is not the most important thing, same
font height is much more important (IMO), but then logos also tend to
have different heights in themselfs (besides the g from G, see the
minilogo of wordpress in respect to the writing "wordpress"). Or: AOL
is much more visually intrusive because of the very bold font.

To avoid composition problems you could go for one single horizontal
line with all of them (or one column) In either way they would have to
become smaller (not a problem).
