[OSM-dev] osm2pgsql and mapnik

Hej.

Im wondering if there is any solution to convert the mapnik xml to a 
osm2pgsql style.
Im trying to split the tables for different zoom levels. So i need 2 
tables for roads, lines and so on. I do this to make the render-process 
faster (i hope so) for wms-use.
I didnt see a possibility to change this in the default.style of 
osm2pgsql. There is only the possibility to declare if the feature 
should be a line or polygon....

Im hoping for some help :)
