[OSM-dev] file timestamp in planet.pbf ?

Hey,
What does that timestamp mean? The time the file was created? The time
of the newest feature in the file?
The latter can be extracted from a PBD using osmconvert
--out-statistics (which is what I do) but there may be easier ways...
