Well I wouldn't phrase it _quite_ like that :)

But a message would certainly make sense.  Interestingly, not all of the 
changesets are empty - see for example:

It might also be worth mentioning to the users (at least two) who have 
done reverts there and ask if they've escalated to the DWG at all.
