Thanks Matt, this looks useful. I downloaded the 38 GB file, now I'm wondering
how to use it. Is there an easy way to use the file from Python, say for
example if I want to search for every object tagged as tourism=zoo? Do I need
to uncompress the file before using it?
I see some Python modules listed here:

Which is the best to use? I'm not interested in rendering tiles, I'm just
interested in the data.
