Welcome. We are happy to hear that you are interested in working on
an OpenStreetMap-related project. The first step for you should be
to familiarize yourself with OpenStreetMap and the project you want
to work on. If you have not yet participated as a mapper, get an
account and do some surveying around you. For the indoor mappng
project you should in particular find out about the indoor mapping
schema and try it out on a building familiar to you. Next get familiar
with the software. Install the plugin, try to use it, look at the code
and start tinkering with it.
You should then get in touch with the mentor of the project to find
out about more details. Please note that we have this year the requirement
that you have already contributed in a small way to an OSM project,
so you should factor in some time for that.
