[OSM-dev] Slow rendering

Hello,

We're looking for some support to improve our rendering time. If you can 
do it, please let me know how much it would cost and how we can do the 
payment.

**Now this is the problem:*
Although we have a pretty powerful server, we still can't nail the 
config to make it as fast as it should be.
We use a Ubuntu host with PostGIS and Mapnik on, and we want to render 
Europe to Zoom 18/19 maybe. We managed to render Z15 completely, but it 
took like 17 days...

_Server config:_
*DELL R910*
_RAM_: *256 GB*
_CPU_: *4 x 10 core's CPU E7- 4870 @ 2.40GHz (so 40 physical cores)*
_Storage_:***Samsung EVO 860 SSD in RAID 5* /(and prosumer SAS in Raid 
6, but we have enough space to only use those SSD's)/ with a PERC H700 
RAID controller
_Network_: *3 providers, in the XXX mbs range* each, a pfSense firewall, 
a CISCO L3 switch and all the network is wired on CAT 6
_VM_:***6.0.0 Update 3 *Build 5050593 (we want to run multiple machines 
on that server, but we can allocate most of the resources to the one 
that does the rendering)
