The golf green color is the same color we use for leisure=pitch.  That the current pitch color in general is not ideal in the context of the other colors used in the style is known and has been discussed during testing and changing it to a better defined and more distinct color (for both leisure=pitch and golf=green) more reflecting the very specific purpose of the feature in question is definitely something we would consider.
