Hi Niharika, 
If you’re interested in contributing to the Valhalla front-end it’s probably best to look at https://github.com/gis-ops/valhalla-app and see if any of the issues there look interesting to you, and propose to work on that.
If you’re interested in other OSM related front-end work, you could have a look at MapRoulette, there’s interesting front-end development work there too: https://github.com/maproulette/maproulette3 (I am the project lead for MapRoulette)
