[OSM-dev] open source contribution

Hi Niharika,
Suggestion: Valhalla's Optimized Route service API could use some frontend.
When I had checked
https://github.com/valhalla/demos/tree/gh-pages/optimized_route it hadn't
worked at my end. (not sure if some issue in the code or just a bug at my
end - I didn't dig deeper)
Also the main demo frontend: https://valhalla.openstreetmap.de/
Which seems to have its source code here:
https://github.com/gis-ops/valhalla-app
.. there too they have not yet added Optimized Route feature from the looks
of it.
There was this one request last year:
https://github.com/gis-ops/valhalla-app/issues/28
.. and had been turned down by maintainers as being too much work.
So, this is something that an open source contributor can do. Relatively
fresh work, so most of the work can happen in new modules/files and won't
be at too much risk of clashing with existing codebase.
PS: I'm not involved in maintaining any of this stuff; I am just an end
user. So this is only a suggestion.
