Hi Peter,

Thanks to your help and dedication, the data import finally gets done.
Excuted:
$ ./graphhopper.sh import japan-latest.osm.pbf

This generated a new folder "japan-latest.osm-gh" under graphhopper/ which
consist of 6 files as
simon at ubuntu-simon:/opt/graphhopper/japan-latest.osm-gh$ ls
edges geometry locationIndex names nodes properties

Looks good and then I tried to deply the android app to my cellphone. This
is the steps that I followed:
1. ./graphhopper.sh eclipse
2. get my cellphone connected and run the application on the device
3. download japan.map from http://download.mapsforge.org/maps/asia/japan.map
4. copy the japan.map into a folder japan-gh and move the folder to
/sdcard/graphhopper/maps/

Then I run graphhopper on my cellphone. An error came out. Please see the
attached screenshot of my cellphone.

It seems that the app on the cellphone couldn't load japan.map. Does it
have some relationship with the "Limitation" you mentioned in
https://github.com/graphhopper/graphhopper/wiki/Android#limitations?
I'm not very clear about the workaround: But you can simply create the
graphhopper folder on your desktop and copy them to the Android storage.

Could you please give me more details about it, in terms of what is
graphhopper folder used for and what does it contian?

Really appreciate your help. Thanks.
