[GraphHopper] embedding GraphHopper in a non-Java webapp

Hi

Is it possible to embed GraphHopper in a non-Java based webapplication?
Does anyone have any experience with this, or can point to docs/examples
that've tried this?

I suppose, an alternative to actually embedding GraphHopper would be, to
start up GH as a server, where it listens on a socket for commands. I'm
aware of the GH web-app that uses jetty to start up a simple web-server.
I'm wondering if there's a stripped down version, that simply listens on
a socket.
