[GraphHopper] Route Options and Directions Mode

So eventually you need to build a graph with CH off and define which
vehicles you desire.
What are the possible drawbacks for setting CH off as i have read that
*contraction
hierarchies* is a technique to speed up shortest-path routing
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shortest-path_routing>?
Then in the code how can i change the route mode i.e car, foot, bike?
