[GraphHopper] Problem with pier..?

Here’s a riddle for your experts: routing fails here:

Looking at OSM, it seems the way has a tag highway=unclassified (OK) and another man_made=pier, I guess the latter is throwing graphhopper off. Looks like a bug to me, but I don’t see why just looking at the code.
