Hi Lucas,

thanks for your interest in GSOC. As you are interested in router
projects, Nils (in CC) can give you more information on those project
ideas.

We can't really give you an estimate on acceptance, although from past
experience I can say that this depends quite a bit on the students
themselves. Good engagement with the mentors during the application
phase and a well-written proposal will go a very long way.

Please note that we require students that they do a small contribution
of code, documentation or tests as part of the application. Again, Nils
can tell you more here. Please also take some time to get aquainted with
OSM if you haven't done yet: do some mapping in your local area and get
in touch with the community. https://community.osm.org is a great place
to start for the latter.
