[Gsoc-orga] [gsoc-mentors] Filtering GSoC applications

Just another question - are we supposed to filter out for OSM experience?
Of my two proposals, it appears that I have one stronger proposal but with
no OSM experience (applicant did a past project with Google Maps API),
versus another application that's less strong technically but the applicant
has (minimally) contributed to OSM (one day of edits with four changesets
adding some local POIs).
