[Historic] More old maps on ooc.openstreetmap.org

Lars - thanks for the great links.
I think these examples highlight some general questions of how to digitize
& abstract the information in maps like these (and say, Sanborn Fire
Insurance Maps). OpenLayers is cool, but having people convert them into
OSM-style data would be even cooler, no? (Maybe not! I think this is an
interesting discussion item).
Does anyone have any experience designing the process/operations or
budgeting around this - either for OpenLayers or OSM conversion?
