[OHM] tagging for historic race tracks

i have a large collection of information about historic racing venues.
i have been refraining from entering them into openstreetmap for
obvious reasons, but i think it's time for me to start entering them
into OHM in cases where i can come up with good data on their
locations. can someone please point me at appropriate resources
for this?
