At the time of the discussion there was a lot of data being simply transferred
from the pdf vectorized data to OSM. That sample just popped up scanning the
list archive, but I could not find any links to the actual process of creating
the data. I am convinced that there was a link along with the explanation of the
sort of things that complicated the process. Material that I'm sure would be
helpful ...
