Can you clarify what you mean here? Is this ditching a slider in favor of
some fixed time snapshots, as Tim discussed in a prior thread?

Or, is this just a timeslider in iD?

I'm hoping we can get some more detailed input from other Linked Data gurus
on this idea & some that you have on your great blog post.
