[OHM] date formats (was Re: Hidden Geo of NY's Gay Nightlife)

I really dont like this for OHM.

The temporal side, is like the geo side, orthogonal to feature properties.
While one can envisage plenty of short-term workarounds (at the moment we
treat temporal aspects as feature properties), ones which mix concepts
which one may later want to cleanly separate only lead to later grief.
