that was why both HOT and OSM US went with DC, there were
DC residents (Kate in particular) involved in founding both
organizations.

the agent thing is important; boards turn over. there may come
a time when there aren't any board members living where the
organization is incorporated.

i can't speak to incorporating in other countries, i've never done
that. i have no idea what the tradeoffs are.

i know all of the board, but my time on the board overlapped
with Martijn by one year (he succeeded me as president) and
he's the member i talk to most often. i'll ask him what's up.
