Yes - need to figure this out. I'm inclined to incorporate somewhere where
we have a physical personal presence, just to simplify the need for working
with an agent.
Separate question: should we be US-based or somewhere else?

I talked with Kate about this & she highly recommends getting professional
help with formation, to make sure everything's in order.
