[OHM] OHM talk proposal for SOTM-US

I wasn't seeing my way clear to proposing any State of the Map US talk this
year, let alone an OHM one, but FOSS4GNA opened my eyes. I've given a few
talks about using circular statistics to analyze the way our (San
Francisco) bus routes are named, and it's really quite a fun topic. It
hadn't occurred to me (duh) to look towards the evolution of routes to see
if it explains some of the peculiarities–turns out that in the one case I
have looked at, the situation's even more baffling–but I'm gathering
resources to look at the history of public transit routes and I've suddenly
got a project that makes sense for OHM.
I'll draft an abstract soon, but that's the general subject area. It'd be
nice to be part of an OHM session and there's still time to get quite a bit
done in advance of SotMUS.
Richard, having spent some of my younger days at Road America and crewing
for a friend at Blackhawk Farms, still regretting that I didn't make it to
Riverside before it was too late, and having a ticket for whatever Sears
Point is called these days, I totally support your topic and your proposed
coverage.
