Historic:
Forwarding some thoughts from Daniel in Prague. See here:
https://github.com/OpenHistoricalMap/data/issues/1
Any thoughts? I'm a big fan of the "Whole source" option, but I bet some
SPARQL or LOD smart people have some thoughts here.
Thanks,
Jeff

During our discussion in Prague, @jeffreyameyer
<https://github.com/jeffreyameyer> placed great emphasis on tagging the
source. As a historian, I understand this demand very well and agree with
it. However, the thing is, how to tag the source.

Now, I tag objects source=mza:d9 (example:
http://www.openhistoricalmap.org/way/198280706). The explanation of the
"mza:d9" value is here:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Open_Historical_Map/Projects/Indication_Sketches.
I understand very well, that such tagging is not perfect, so I have few
hints, how to improve it.

*Description web page*
When you see the tag box at the page
http://www.openhistoricalmap.org/way/198280706, the "source" key is linked
to wiki-OSM (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:source?uselang=cs). We
can create a own web page (at wiki-OSM?), where all sources (abbreviations)
will be described.

*Linking*
Another option is to provide hyperlink to the source map. In this case:
https://www.mza.cz/indikacniskici/index.php#show:MOR080818300. However the
hyperlink can be broken in future.

*Whole source*
We can also provide both, a full source description and a hyperlink. For
example:
Moravský zemský archiv, D9 Indikační skici, sig. MOR080818300;
https://www.mza.cz/indikacniskici/index.php#show:MOR080818300
