[HOT] Complete Garmin Maps ( was Re: Fw: OpenStreetMap in New Zealand)

Hi,

I just actually saw the news now.. it took a moment for word to spread (just
saw the news). .. and the realization of what just happened.
I know that here in Victoria, BC it's also on a fault line.  I have never
been to Wellington, but it seems like a place similar to Victoria.

So my thoughts and prayers are with all those effected by this.


In response, I have now installed the contours map which includes the
rivers.

Its a transparent Garmin mapSource overlay to the other map.  from

I don't know how much it'll help, but it it means that those who need to go
where they need to will have a complete routable map to work with.  (with
thanks to the New Zealand Government for already making the data available)
