[HOT] Advised computer requirements

Hi Brian,

I second Dane that a good setup would be dual core, and 2-4 GB (or more!).
Regarding harddisk, I'd rather looks for performance (speed) than storage
capacity.
Having a card reader may also be a convenient option, faster than putting
the GPS unit in mass storage mode to transfer data (GPX tracks, maps...)

For display size, the bigger the better, although it's actually the
resolution that matters.

That may not apply to you, but I found out that an embedded 3G module would
be very convenient while on the move.

I'm a Ubuntu user (although somewhat disappointed by the latest releases)
and I can help you with that. FYI, there's a package repository for GIS
