Potlatch2 integrates with a site using OAuth.
The OAuth settings that I configure into a Sahana instance are
attached to a single OpenStreetMap account.
This means that all users of this Sahana instance edit as the same user.
I would prefer that each Sahana user used their own OSM account -
either their existing one (if they have one) or by easily creating a
new one if not...including the OAuth details & pulling those into
their Sahana user profile.

I'm aware of this concern.
If this is for Potlatch integrated into Sahana then this is for
editing small amount of data - simple corrections/additions, not
wholesale copying of maps.

OAuth is already part of the Potlach process.
We can't require all Sahana users to use OpenID to login (although
this is certainly an option supported generally by Sahana, it's not
one which is appropriate for the IFRC's internal instance, for
instance)
