Eric,

As I just told Severin I have revised the page for Mali to make it more generic for african countries. 

I agree with your propositions to describe road conditions and river crossings. Feel free to revise the wiki page to describe these. This way, we will have one page that apply to the various countries. And we should eventually change the name of the page from Mali to African_Countries.
