[HOT] Fwd: Re: Validating & TM2 - a send message button?

Charlotte,

Crowdmapping, especially for major activations like the current Ebola Outbreak, this mean a lot of new contributors, with mapping problems and need to support them. And we see a lot of turnover. When we say that 1,000 contributors have mapped. In fact, for many of them, this is less then 100 objects. How to retain these people, make them like to contribute and learn rapidly. To do so, I prefer a social approach where it is easy for these persons to communicate and ask questions. The same with the coordinators, have the capacity to join rapidly the contributors to the various tasks.

Pierre,

         I also
think the feedback on validation would be very worthwhile to me. If you
are worried that people will get irritated with the feedback, then give
them the option of turning the feedback of and on.
         We need
more than another email list for discussion. We need real
feedback.

Instead, let's bring a social plus learning function in this
CrowdSourcing Task Manager.

to the task Manager. The Validation comments could also be listed in this
IRC. On the of the page, their could be a count of how many contributors
currently selected a task.

discussion. This would play some social gathering function easily
accessible plus help support for beginners.
