Yes, this video is amazing. After mapping literally hundreds of these
wells we have still never seen one up close. What's more, we now know
what causes the 'fans', it is the animal walking away from the well to
pull up the bucket. This video is very helpful in understanding these
wells and in confirming that we are mapping them correctly.
A big thanks to those who made this video and a heads up to any aid
organizations or others in the field that things like this which don't
seem important or useful can in fact be very important to our
volunteers in understanding the place they are mapping.
