It is quite common for paths to be run along the edges of fields or
other cleared out areas but don't worry about mapping them if they
don't obviously connect up to a wider transportation infrastructure.
We don't need to map every little footpath in the country, just the
ones that are actually useful for travelling place to place.  So if
you can see a clear path going to a cluster of fields or something
like that then trace it, but if it is just little segments of paths on
the edges of a few scattered fields, and you will never be able to
connect them back to the main road network then mapping them does not
make sense.
