Hi Jeff,

As Rebecca mentioned, we are currently working on a project in Liberia
indeed! Which I'm managing, and I'm actually in Gbarnga/Ganta at the
moment together with David Luswata. This project focuses mostly on
supporting local gov't in Gbarnga, Ganta and Zwedru in collecting and
using geodata for urban planning and service delivery, in close
collaboration with local partners such as LISGIS and the Ministry of
Internal Affairs.

I don't think we'll actually get to Maryland county (where Harper and
Pleebo are), but I have been in contact with an NGO (Partners in Health,
http://www.pih.org/) that has a presence there and is interested in
mapping to support their operations. I'm hoping your objectives would
align quite well, and I'd be happy to chat more on how we can setup
remote mapping for these areas (providing road networks/building
outlines) and work on getting more local knowledge/ground truthed data
in for this county.

best,
Paul
