Good call Andy,

Ya, i should make a new login for uploading CanVec data, i have been
using 'geobase:Acrosscanadatrails', but that was 'back in tha day'
when the list didnt know what canvec was, and called the Canada
Import, 'GeoBase Import', which we now know what it is :)

In the user profile description, i'll put more source detail, as that
helps other users when they see the data.

HOWEVER, when im just copying-in a few features (to fill in the area
im working in), i dont need to login as that 'source:user' because
'brain power' after physically being in the area, im aware of what
features are 'more correct'.
So having that 'attribution=*" tag helps, since there on those features.

I dont think that the 'source' tag is that relevant to add. 'cause if
it has 'attribution=Natural Resources Canada', we already know that
it MUST HAVE been converted by a script, and MUST be the latest script
of the day (changeset date/time).
I think that it is essential to have the 'source=' box in josm set as
a preset list of choices (to put in the changeset). .. That would
help.

what are other peoples definition of; How to give sufficient attribution?

(mine is direct on the feature tag, as the only needed, the rest is extra)

Sam
