[Imports] Canada Import vs. NZ Import

Hi,
Are you the one who is converting the available LINZ data to .osm format?

Right now, i figure its best to have just 1 person who is making the .osm
files available, then others are working on actually coping over the data to
OSM in the area that they live. (rather than me dropping them in and not
being familar with the area.)

Im using the shp-to-osm.jar v5.0 script by ian dees ... and i presume your
using mp2osm ('cause it's mp files) but still need to make that tag-matching
list for all to review.

Right now im on canvec2osm_BETA v0.9 as there are still some little bugs. it
should be released this week. (so people can improve the preformance of it).
.. and make it do tricks and stuff.   For now the way i have it is fine.

What website repository for the script is used to store it?

is nice... but it looks like the website doesnt host anymore?  (i get a
page-not-found error)
