[Imports] Import field areas in Viersen, Germany with place=locality

Are these "field areas" just fields with a name or are they actually places?

I'm not on a very solid ground here but I know some farmyard fields and meadows, etc with names (in my native Finland) but that I wouldn't call localities.

I'd think of locality as a place with a name that at least people who live there would (usually) know.

If you have the boundaries (areas) of these "field areas" you could also just add a name tag to the which ever other appropriate tag fits them (farmland, meadow, pitch, etc). If that suites them better, of course.
Nominatim will pick up all place names. And the name tag is obviously available for all data users. And it renders, too (on areas). 

On the other hand: if they are localities then it's simple/clear that you should use that tag.

the Land Registry of Viersen (NRW/Germany) gave us the names of
Fieldareas (german=Gewannen) of Viersen.
We want to import them with place=locality. (place with no population)
There are 2900 places with names within the area of Viersen.
The only disadvantage of the chosen tagging is the presentation of that
names in Mapnik in an early zoom level (>=14)
Nevertheless, this seems to be the best solution for that places but
better suggestions are welcome.

The data from the Land Registry is released under the ODbL and CC by-sa
license.

The imports are also marked with source = Katasteramt_Kreis_Viersen
A special user was generated also for import:
