It was good to chat with you on the phone and get this import rolling.  I'm looking forward to training your interns next week.  Steven Johnson would like to join us.

If anyone else wants to join, i think one more person would be good, as there are 3 interns.  And it's good for DC mappers to learn the import process, as one day, they will likely move to another city and do an import of their own ;)

Though there's been some concern about quality of work for paid staff, i think it's excellent that DC gov wants to run this import on their own, and that the interns are DC locals.  The MappingDC community will continue to support this import, that is the actual import process and the maintenance of the data in the future.  I'm looking forward to enabling all DCists as a crowdsource to tag building POIs using mobile apps like Pushpin.
