[Imports] Fwd: Import os waterways in São Paulo, Brazil

Thanks for your comments.

I'm interested in importing *rios.shp* file. There is a important community
of people interested in mapping underground waterways, as they were mostly
buried to give space to cars. I'm in contact with this community, so we
would have help to refine data after the import.

The correct SRID for the file is 4618 (SAD 69), not the one save in .prj.

The import would not occur automatically, as we would need to connect the
waterstreams to the major rivers, which remain untouched.

It seems that the proper tagging would be waterway=ditch+tunnel=yes as they
are mostly underground man-made channels. If there is something that seems
natural and above surface, waterway=stream. Do I need to put level=* to
every road crossing if I put tunnel=yes?

Someone suggested using ogr2osm to allow editing in JOSM, which I'll test.

I'll expand wiki documentation as I advance.
