You are right, maybe some people will just click on upload, right now
a OSM mapper is doing some QA comparing the villages places with other
datasets to see if it's valuable or not.
As for the roads and rivers, best would be to convert them into a WMS
layer or split the work into many HOT Task Manager pieces, what do you
think?

Also I have tagged each of them with the
import=yes
source:date=2010

to facilitate maintenance in case somebody does a bulk load.

There is no forest dataset afterall, after checking the data it was
quite irrelevant to OSM.
