[Imports] Ottawa, Canada Tree Import

For conflation, I think I understand where the misunderstanding comes from.
The details of the workflow for the import are not well documented on the
wiki and it sounded a little like you were doing this mostly automated. But
checking for overlapping nodes doesn't make much sense as I mentioned. Are
you referring to manually checking "overlap" by zooming in and visually
checking the imported trees to the proximity of pre-existing trees and
cross referencing with the aerial imagery?

What tools (scripts, etc) did you use for checking or manipulating the
data? For example, how was the data transformed and converted to geojson,
and how did you come up with a list of trees inside buildings? It'd be nice
to see that documented/referenced in the wiki for future use.

What did you think about checking natrual=water instead of water=*?

For the trunk diameter I plotted the data and included it on the wiki. When
you say it's a horizontal line with a spike for the outliers, it sounds
like you sorted it and plotted the diameter as a function of the line
number? Id say the trunk diameters of even 2.5m sound a little unrealistic
for Ottawa. That's an 8 foot wide trunk! I'm curious to compile a map of
these huge trees and have a look.
I wonder what a size of 0 means. Maybe a standard notation for indicating
small trees shorter than breast height?
